To continue with this series, and also the theme of pink quilts, I was asked to do a pink and black quilt. This color combination can be very striking and beautiful. I designed this quilt using a simple snowball block. I was able to pick varying pinks which are placed from light to dark in the quilt. I also found this perfect Batik border with assorted pinks on a black background that sets off the colors and theme of the quilt wonderfully. I was also asked to embroider a personal message on a corner block. This was a beautiful personalized quilt for some one's mother, and I believe she will really appreciate the thought that went into making this quilt.
